London, October 2025 - The Recycling Expo 2025 brought together leaders from across the UK’s recycling, waste management, and circular economy sectors for two impactful days at ExCeL London.

This year’s event focused on collaboration, innovation, and circular progress, welcoming stakeholders from every corner of the material lifecycle - from local authorities and recyclers to manufacturers, technology providers, and sustainability teams.

Across three stages of live content, experts explored how businesses and policymakers can deliver measurable impact through smarter design, infrastructure investment, and systemic circularity. Panel discussions addressed key industry developments including Simpler Recycling, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), and Deposit Return Schemes (DRS), alongside sessions on circular construction, textiles reuse, and digital sustainability.

Among the most talked-about features were the ReLondon Circular Innovation Hub and the RECOUP Sustainability Clinic.

The Innovation Hub showcased London-based circular startups tackling waste and emissions through practical, design-led solutions - from packaging alternatives to recycled materials and sustainable product innovations. Meanwhile, the Sustainability Clinic offered one-to-one consultations with experts advising on packaging compliance, plastics recycling, and policy readiness.

Another standout was the Leadership Walk & Talk, which brought together sustainability and waste leaders for open, informal dialogue on driving collaboration across sectors. The initiative will continue online with new digital sessions planned for early 2026.

Attendees praised the event’s quality of discussion and mix of participants, noting that the show attracted decision-makers, practitioners, and innovators eager to share knowledge and forge partnerships. Feedback highlighted the standing-room-only audience engagement, insightful debate, and genuine collaboration seen across the agenda.

Many also celebrated the chance to meet members of The Circular 100 - the annual initiative recognising 100 individuals driving measurable progress in UK circularity. More updates on the 2025 cohort will be announced shortly.

Building on the momentum from London, organisers have confirmed that The Recycling Expo 2026 will take place at the Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre on 13–14 October 2026. The move represents a significant evolution for the event - enabling an expanded live format that blends indoor innovation with large-scale outdoor demonstrations.

Farnborough offers the ideal environment for this next stage of growth, with 100,000 square feet of flexible outdoor space, 20,000 square feet of modern indoor exhibition halls, and 3,500 free parking spaces for visitors and exhibitors. More than 3,000 hotel rooms are located within close reach of the venue, ensuring easy access for UK and international participants alike.

The 2026 edition will also feature live machinery and equipment demonstrations, alongside three expert content stages delivering a circular economy-led agenda.
