We’re proud to announce that WasteAid, the UK-based international development charity championing inclusive circular economies, is the official charity partner of The Recycling Expo 2025.

With a mission to ensure waste causes no harm and people are empowered to recover its value, WasteAid’s work is critical to global environmental progress. From empowering informal waste workers through their Wastepreneur programme to creating Circular Economy Networks that unite policymakers, waste pickers, and community leaders — their impact is global, practical, and deeply human.

This October, WasteAid will join us live at ExCeL London, contributing to panel sessions and sharing insight from their work in communities with no formal waste infrastructure — where waste is not just an environmental issue, but one of health, dignity, and economic survival.

Their programmes in countries like Gambia, Cameroon, Uganda, and India are unlocking new livelihoods, reducing emissions, and helping women and young people build waste-based micro-enterprises that transform lives as well as landscapes.
